Who was your most influential teacher? Why?
Nobody Apparel didn’t have a classroom. No neat rows. No register.
The most influential teacher?
Rejection.
Every ignored message. Every “seen” with no reply. Every almost-opportunity that slipped through. That’s where the lessons hit hardest.
Rejection taught patience when nothing was moving.
It taught identity when it was easier to copy.
It taught resilience when quitting would’ve been quieter.
No applause. No gold stars. Just pressure.
And out of that—
a voice that doesn’t ask for permission anymore.
