Dear Future Us,
If this letter has survived a hundred years, then so has Nobody Apparel in some form. That alone would mean something we started with a handful of ideas, a few designs, and the belief that independent voices matter. Back when this brand began, the world was noisy with fast fashion, algorithms, and endless trends that disappeared as quickly as they arrived. Nobody Apparel was created as the opposite of that: small, honest, and built on expression rather than hype.
In the early days we printed designs that spoke to outsiders, music lovers, artists, and people who never quite felt like they belonged to the mainstream. The name “Nobody” was never about being invisible. It was about recognising that the people who shape culture are often the ones no one notices at first.
By the time you are reading this, the world will have changed in ways we can only guess. Maybe fashion is fully circular and nothing is wasted. Maybe clothes are printed instantly wherever people are. Maybe the idea of “brands” has faded and communities create their own designs. Or maybe, despite all the technology, people still want something simple: a well-made t-shirt with meaning behind it.
If Nobody Apparel still exists, I hope it stayed independent in spirit. Perhaps it grew from small market stalls and online orders into a recognised name in alternative fashion. Maybe the designs travelled further than we ever imagined—from Birmingham to cities across the world. Maybe musicians wore it on stage, or artists collaborated with it, or it simply became part of everyday wardrobes for people who liked what it stood for.
The real success of Nobody Apparel was never meant to be just profit or popularity. It was always about creativity, learning from mistakes, and building something authentic. If the brand lasted, it means those values survived too.
And if Nobody Apparel no longer exists, that is okay as well. Every independent brand is a moment in time. What matters is that it was created honestly and that it gave people something real while it was here.
Wherever the world is in your time—whether cities are greener, technology is quieter, or culture has moved somewhere we can’t yet imagine—I hope the spirit behind Nobody Apparel still makes sense: that even “nobody” can create something that lasts.
From the beginning,
Nobody Apparel
